HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Huntsville families have a new reason to get out and play. Parks & Recreation is hosting the first Spring Fest at the West Huntsville Recreation Center on Saturday, March 14, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., giving the community a chance to explore the new facility.
Since opening in December 2025, the West Huntsville Recreation Center at 150 Martin Rd. SW has quickly become a hub for fun, fitness, and community connection. Now, organizers are opening the doors for a morning of games, inflatables, face painting, and hands-on activities for all ages.
“This will be the first large community event hosted at the West Huntsville Recreation Center and there will be plenty of opportunities to explore,” said Parks & Recreation Director James Gossett. “We’ve seen a great response since opening and we are excited to share this added amenity.”…
