COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A Cobb County student has made history after winning a statewide skills competition, carving out a path for future workers entering the profession who are just like them.
The school district said Ariela Vega, a junior at Cobb Innovation and Technology Academy (CITA), outperformed competitors from around the Peach State in hands-on HVAC knowledge, technical skill and problem-solving.
