A three-alarm fire roared through a building at the Oak Chase Apartments on the 4900 block of Sigmond Drive in Arlington yesterday, temporarily pushing more than 20 residents out of their homes. Fire crews attacked heavy flames on the first and second floors before getting things under control, and city officials reported no civilian or firefighter injuries. The American Red Cross was on scene to help displaced residents with temporary housing and support while investigators work to determine what started the blaze.
