Baton Rouge realtor employee wanted for allegedly embezzling over $32,000 using stolen checks

An employee at Weichert Realtors on Picardy Avenue is wanted by Baton Rouge police for allegedly stealing checks from the realtors’ office and writing them to herself, taking over $32,000 in three months.

Ariel Brown, 40, is wanted for 48 counts each of embezzlement and forgery for the 48 separate checks she allegedly stole and altered between August 2025 and Jan 2026.
