URBANDALE, Iowa — The victim in a fatal Urbandale shooting over the weekend has been identified as a 14-year-old.
Just before 5 p.m. on Sunday, officers with the Urbandale Police Department responded to a report of a disturbance in the 3800 block of 64th Street. The UPD said that when officers arrived, they found a person with a gunshot wound in the parking lot. The victim died from his injuries at the scene.
On Tuesday, the UPD identified the victim as a 14-year-old boy.
