The New Orleans Fire Department battled a two-alarm blaze Tuesday that damaged a vacant Central City duplex, according to Captain Quentin Brown.
Firefighters responded to a 911 call reporting fire at 2618 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at around 2:29 p.m. A second alarm was struck at 2:36 p.m., and the fire was under control by 3:02 p.m., NOFD officials said.
