MILAN, Italy — It was a storybook ending in more ways than one for a majority of Team Idaho at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina: three Olympic debuts, two gold medals, two silver medals, and two proposals, all in two weeks.

The five-time Olympian and captain of the U.S. Women’s Hockey team came into the Milan-Cortina games with gold on her mind.
In group play, the Americans outscored their opponents 20-1, including a 5-0 shutout of rival Canada. One of those goals was by Knight, which tied the all-time Team USA Olympic record for most goals. She would also go on to tie the record for most points.
