Spanish-inspired Casa Juani opens marisquería on Boulder’s Pearl Street on Thursday

Among the many aromas that swirl about Pearl Street on a typical late winter evening, like the mineral smell of cold brick, a trace of ponderosa pine drifting down from the foothills, a strong puff of indica, some new scents are about to join the rotation: jamón and a ribbon of briny sea air.

Casa Juani, the long-awaited Spanish spot from former Frasca chefs Eduardo Valle Lobo and Kelly Jeun, is officially set to open its doors on Thursday, at 901 Pearl St.
