A South Carolina man died in a hospital in Georgia the day after he was involved in a crash, according to the Aiken County Coroner’s Office.
Willie Allen, a 58-year-old Aiken resident, died Feb. 21 following what the coroner’s office called an accident.
At about 7:40 p.m. on Feb. 20, Allen was walking in the road in the area of York Street Northeast and Rutland Drive, the coroner’s office said Tuesday in a news release. The pedestrian was hit by a 2015 Nissan Altima, then taken to WellStar MCG Health in Augusta, Georgia, according to the release…
