In snow emergencies, the South End and Bay Village are special: Car owners there are never supposed to use space savers, not even for a second, due to revulsion over the parking wars that erupted citywide during the 2015 Winter that Never Ended. But based on 311 complaints, that ban is no longer holding. Just look at that rug used as a space saver outside 75 Worcester St. in the South End.
Somebody put out a Charlie Brown space saver at 37 Lawrence St.
Somebody with some interesting taste in furniture saved a space at 40-42 Piedmont St. in Bay Village – another resident decided to kick that thing to the curb, um, put it on the sidewalk, which is great for drivers, maybe, not so good for pedestrians.
But looks like the Piedmont parker with the interesting taste in decor is tired of getting snitched on to 311: “Neighborhood lawyer – Karen thinks she’s the mayor of bay village because of my space saver.”…
