Hunts Point Beatdown Erupts In Gunfire As Bronx Cops Hunt Trio

What started as a late-night argument inside a Hunts Point building turned into a brutal beatdown and gunfire, and now Bronx detectives are asking the public to help track down three people caught up in the chaos.

Police say a 40-year-old man was punched and pistol whipped multiple times inside a building on Hunts Point Avenue on Thursday night. At least one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and fired, damaging nearby property before the trio bolted on foot toward Faile Street. No arrests have been made.
