Texas-based Invoke string quartet to perform at APSU’s Mabry Hall

CLARKSVILLE, TN – Nationally acclaimed Invoke string quartet will perform 3 p.m. March 1 at Austin Peay State University’s Mabry Concert Hall, 801 Marion St.

“We’re excited to be coming to you, March 1, with a concert of musical storytelling through our original songs as well as music by some of our greatest influences like Duke Ellington, Florence Price, Joseph Haydn,” Invoke violinist Zach Matteson said.

The multi-instrumental quartet, based in Austin, Texas, encompasses traditions from across America, including classical, bluegrass, Appalachian fiddle tunes, jazz and minimalism.
