OWENSBORO, Ky. — Owensboro-based Specialty Foods Group, LLC has announced a voluntary withdrawal of certain Kentucky Legend ham products from Walmart locations nationwide following reports of inaccurate weight labeling and pricing.
The company confirmed that a limited number of its quarter-unit and half-unit Kentucky Legend Hams were found to have weight discrepancies. These errors resulted in customers being overcharged for meat that weighed less than what was printed on the label.
