Crash leads to arrest of woman accused of false report and child neglect

VANDERBURGH COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — A 27-year-old woman was arrested on accusations of making a false report and neglect of a dependent after authorities initially responded to a crash on Sunday.

According to a Case Supplemental Report Probable Cause statement with the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, on the night of February 22, a deputy responded to a crash with injuries to the area of Bergdolt and Arrowood Drive.

Authorities said a blue truck crashed into an SUV head on. After the crash, the report states Christina Miller was called to the scene by her brother who was in the crash. Miller pulled up in a darker colored car and then the man drove away in that same car as Miller stayed at the scene, police reported and also stated a video from a neighbor’s home confirmed this…
