SWAT-backed raid on Fort Pierce home ends with cocaine, MDMA, guns seized

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — St. Lucie County deputies unearthed a trove of drugs, including cocaine and MDMA, alongside firearms, leading to the arrest of a 29-year-old man.

The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office said that on Tuesday, detectives from the Special Investigations Division, accompanied by the SWAT Team, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1000 block of Sunrise Boulevard.

During their investigation, officers reported finding a significant amount of illegal substances, including:

  • 29.5 grams of powder cocaine
  • 5.3 grams of MDMA (Ecstasy)
  • 263.7 grams of marijuana
  • 40 grams of MDPV (Methylenedioxypyrovalerone)
