Mom Jailed After Afternoon Double Stabbing In Pinellas Park

PINELLAS PARK, Fla. – Pinellas Park Police arrested 54-year-old Sandra Kegley on Monday afternoon following a double stabbing on the 6200 block of 108th Avenue North. The incident, which occurred around 4:30 PM on February 23, left two people injured and resulted in felony charges for the Pinellas Park resident.

According to investigators, Kegley attacked her daughter’s boyfriend, 23-year-old Eric Smith, with a weapon. When Kegley’s daughter, 25-year-old Kyrsten Bleattler, tried to step in and stop the assault, she was also wounded.

Officers arriving at the residence located all three individuals and confirmed that both Smith and Bleattler had sustained various cuts and stab wounds…
