Jury convicts Honeoye Falls woman of murder for killing sister

Rochester, N.Y. — A jury found a woman guilty of all charges Tuesday in a murder trial for the killing of her sister in Honeoye Falls in 2024.

Jamie Busch, then 53, strangled her sister, Penny Busch, 62, dumped her body in the Genesee River and hid three cellphones in a Dunkin’ Donuts’ dumpster before the body was found by a boater in Rush Oct. 14, 2024, according to authorities.

Penny was last seen alive Oct. 8, 2024 at Walmart and Victor, according to prosecutors, and strangled sometime between then and Oct. 14…
