Monroe County DMVs faces long waits despite new system upgrade

GREECE, N.Y. — Monroe County DMVs have introduced a new system aimed at reducing wait times, but some customers reported experiencing longer waits. News10NBC’s Declan Stablow reported live from the Greece DMV, where some wait times reached up to five and a half hours.

The Greece DMV closed its doors for the day around 5:00 pm due to reaching capacity, but a few people were still trying to get in.

Data from the county clerk’s office showed that average wait times yesterday were about 75 minutes, with the exception of the Henrietta office, which had wait times of less than 50 minutes. Last week, average wait times were less than an hour…
