SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Residents in the Victory Heights and Parkside neighborhoods have reported a string of home burglaries and thefts during the month of February.
One anonymous resident told WSAV that these neighborhoods, near Daffin Park, are known to be safe and family friendly, but lately some people have been on their guard.
“They’re prying doors open,” the anonymous resident said about the alleged thieves. “They are crawling on top of HVAC units and damaging their units. They’re tearing off the screen to the windows of the homes and breaking in through the windows… I’ve lived here for ten years total, and I’ve never felt more unsafe.”…
