Syracuse, N.Y — The owner of one of Central New York’s busiest Indian restaurants is getting ready to try something new — and this time, diners pick their dinner before it ever hits the grill.
Raj Kummar, who operates Raj Saffron House in Syracuse’s Westcott neighborhood — named one of syracuse.com’s best restaurants of 2025 — plans to open a new spot called The Kebab Place in Shop City in early March.
