Second man wanted in Opelousas shooting, in which vehicle hit by gunfire, arrested

OPELOUSAS, La. (NEWS 15) — The second man wanted for a shooting in which a vehicle was hit by gunfire has now been arrested, according to the Opelousas Police Department.

Freddie Lewis Jr., 42, of Lafayette, is charged with principal to attempted second degree murder and principal to aggravated criminal damage to property.

His son, Freddie Lewis III, 23, of Opelousas, was previously arrested on charges of attempted second-degree murder and aggravated criminal damage to property…
