RUTLAND, Wis. — A man died Tuesday night following an all-terrain vehicle crash in the Town of Rutland, according to the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said a preliminary investigation indicated a 55-year-old man was operating an ATV on private property near State Highway 138 at approximately 7:06 p.m. when the vehicle rolled in a cornfield, ejecting the man. He suffered a serious head injury, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was reportedly not wearing a helmet at the time and the sheriff’s office said alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash…
