Case sent to district court for woman charged with fatal pedestrian crash in North Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The woman arrested after a woman was struck and killed in January made had her preliminary hearing in Douglas County Court Tuesday.

Nikia Evans, 21, was charged with 2nd-degree murder, use of a weapon to commit a felony, and failure to stop and render aid.

Evans’ bond was set at $750,000. Her case was sent to Douglas County District Court for trail.
