WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – After the evacuation and subsequent closure of Fire Station 15 due to mold, another Wichita fire station is expected to close in March.
A report shows the fungus was found in 20 of the city’s 22 fire stations.
On Tuesday, the city council heard remediation plans that include a priority list of stations most in need. Stations 15, 11, 3 and 13 were at the top of that list, but not all of them will need to be closed.
