LINCOLN–(KFOR Feb. 25)–Lincoln Police say they are investigating an officer-involved shooting that happened around 1:30am Wednesday behind the Office Depot store off of 50th and “R” Street.
Chief Michon Morrow says an officer responded about an alarm going off on the backside of the building and arrived to find a man inside a small access door behind a dumpster near the back loading dock.
“(The officer) gave verbal commands to the suspect, but he did not comply. The suspect, a 49-year-old Lincoln man, threw a metal object before firing at the officer who returned fire,” Chief Morrow said…
