TIJERAS, N.M. (KRQE) – A man accused of shooting and killing his 4-year-old son, and wounding his wife and his one-year-old child, will remain in custody through his trial.
Luis Sanchez, 41, waived his right to a detention hearing, and the court ultimately sided with the state, which argued that he poses a threat to the community and to his own family. He will remain in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center.
