North Shore community asks for donations following devastating floods

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The North Shore Chamber of Commerce shared details regarding a community item drive for those affected by intense rains and floods.

“This past weekend’s heavy rains have impacted communities across Oʻahu’s North Shore,” the North Shore Chamber of Commerce said in their call for support. “Many individuals and families experienced flooding and displacement, resulting in the loss of personal belongings, household essentials, clothing and other necessities.”

Strong weather caused evacuations and strenuous circumstances across the North Shore, which in turn damaged residents’ homes, personal items and more.
