MCDOWELL COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The McDowell County Sheriff’s Office arrested the three people from Marion following multiple break-ins at a local rental home.
Deputies charged Samantha Lee Brasecker, Michael Dolphus Tate and Christopher Jerome Conley with felony second-degree burglary. Brasecker and Tate were each issued a secured bond of $30,000, while Conley was denied bond due to already being out on pretrial release. Conley was also charged with felony larceny after breaking and entering.
The investigation began after deputies received a call on Feb. 4 regarding a break-in at a vacant rental property. The property owner stated that a wood heater had been stolen from the home.
