A North Carolina man became Volusia County’s latest highway fatality when his vehicle crashed into a guardrail on Interstate 95 near Edgewater early Wednesday, Feb. 25, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The crash occurred at 2:12 a.m. near Indian River Boulevard, state troopers said.

Troopers said the 42-year-old Canton, North Carolina, man was traveling south on I-95 when he lost control of the 2017 Ford F-150 he was driving south of West Indian River Boulevard.
