Female veterans gain dedicated healthcare space at VA Augusta

AUGUSTA, Ga (WJBF)- The VA Augusta Healthcare System has a new clinic designed entirely for female veterans.

In 2000, only 4 percent of veterans were woman, but that population is growing to an expected 18 percent by 2040. That means an increased need for women’s health care at the VA.
