UVA Health names Dr. Reid Adams as inaugural system-wide Chief Medical Officer

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) -As UVA Health continues to expand across Virginia, its leadership structure is expanding as well.

The health system has named Doctor Reid Adams as its first-ever system-wide Chief Medical Officer. Adams is a longtime cancer surgeon and has most recently served as Chief Medical Officer for the University Medical Center in Charlottesville.
