Crews respond to hazmat situation at Grand Rapids manufacturer

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Crews with the Grand Rapids Fire Department responded to a hazmat situation at a Grand Rapids manufacturer on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident happened at Arkema Grand Rapids, a chemical manufacturer that produces resin technologies for traffic paints, industrial finishes and architectural coatings, located on Steele Avenue SW.
