DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A metro Atlanta jewelry store is one of three sites where a coordinated multi-state search warrant was executed Wednesday in connection with an organized fraud investigation.
The scheme, authorities said, involves laundering and gold melting, in what is commonly called the “gold bar scam.”
