An Ocala restaurant is facing a lawsuit from a Citrus County man who claims a fall on a “hidden, dangerous condition” at the establishment over two years ago resulted in serious bodily injury.
David A. Honiker filed the negligence complaint in Fifth Judicial Circuit Court of Marion County on February 11, against C & J Storming Crab Ocala, LLC, doing business as Storming Crab. The restaurant is located at 3500 SW College Road, Unit 100, in Ocala.
According to the complaint, Honiker visited Storming Crab on or about February 18, 2024.
While Honiker was attempting to “return to his dining table,” he allegedly stepped on a portion of the floor covered in a slippery substance, causing him to fall with significant force.
