A New Operation Offers Back Pain Relief in Delaware

A relatively new operation is giving those who suffer from lower-back pain a whole new lease on life.

Intracept, a minimally invasive outpatient procedure, uses radiofrequency energy to target the basivertebral nerve, which transmits pain signals from degenerative discs in the lower spine. First performed in the state at Newark’s SpineCare Delaware, by doctors from First State Spine, Intracept offers an easier procedure than other treatments.
