(FOX 5/KUSI) — A stretch of westbound Highway 52 was closed for several hours near the North Clairemont neighborhood of San Diego on Tuesday morning.
The closure applied to the westbound lanes and covered almost the entire span between I-5 and I-805.

According to Caltrans, a crash prompted the closure of the lanes near Regents Road.
