HOUSTON, Texas – Drivers of certain Ford Explorer SUVs may soon be getting recall notices in the mail.

Ford Motor Company has announced a recall of more than 400,000 Ford Explorer vehicles from model years 2017 through 2019 due to a potential issue involving the rear suspension.

According to federal safety officials, a rear suspension toe link could fracture. If that happens, it may affect the vehicle’s alignment and steering, increasing the risk of a crash. In some cases, drivers could notice unusual handling, uneven tire wear, or the vehicle pulling to one side…
