Former students allege grooming, sue Oswego 308 district

CHICAGO — A Chicago law firm is suing Oswego School District 308 on behalf of four former students from Oswego High School who allege they were groomed and sexually harassed by a former coach and teacher.

The Disparti Law Group alleges the district failed to protect students from Sean Staffeldt, who is also being sued in the lawsuit, for years as he allegedly groomed and sexually harassed them through verbal and electronic communications. He is also accused of inappropriate touching of students, who were all under 18 at the time.

The lawsuit was put together after one of the victims spoke out on social media last year, prompting additional former students to come forward…
