One of San Antonio’s most acclaimed sandwich shops is pressing the gas with a new drive-thru restaurant. Ro-Ho Pork & Bread has opened a second outlet at 618 Fair Ave., bringing its famed tortas ahogadas to the South Side.
The location, housed in a shipping container, has been in the works since early 2022, but construction hit some early snags. In July 2023, vandals broke into the job site, cutting wires throughout the building.
“The grand opening of our new location…will be postponed after we experienced a saddening act of vandalism to our electrical system during construction,” the restaurant wrote at the time. “We are already working hard not to allow this setback to delay our mission of delivering quality food and connecting to a new neighborhood in San Antonio.”…
