BELOIT, Wis. (WIFR) – Beloit business owners are preparing for several weeks of disruption as the East Grand Avenue reconstruction project gets underway.
Construction begins Monday, March 2. On Monday, March 9, East Grand Avenue will be fully closed to vehicle traffic between State and Pleasant streets for the duration of the time.
“The sidewalks will remain open for the majority of the project. There will be some intermittent closures, but we are trying to minimize that as best as possible so we can try to maintain pedestrian traffic throughout the area,” said Sarah Lock, City of Beloit’s director of strategic communications.
