In its heyday, the buzzing corner was lined with shiny new cars. Since 2024, though, it has sat vacant and waiting for its next act. Now, its next chapter is taking shape.
The city of Fort Collins recently purchased two of the property’s four lots, with plans to build a new electric substation on a nearly four-acre slice of the site. The property’s other roughly two acres are the subject of a QuikTrip proposal. The Oklahoma-based gas station chain wants to build a new convenience store and fueling center there, taking over the property’s eastern side…
