TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – The Tucson Rodeo Parade is tomorrow, and the horses are ready to go.
These animals have traveled from across the country to be a part of a tradition that’s been pulling wagons down Tucson’s streets for over a century. But before they trot down the parade route, there’s a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes.
One couple from Kansas drove two days to bring their horses to the parade. Peg and Frank Burkdoll have been partnering with the Tucson Rodeo Parade since 2016. This year, they’re bringing their own team of Norwegian Fjord horses, including Tank, who has already made his rodeo parade debut…
