Susan Rossetti was presented with a proclamation in honor of her service and contributions to the nation. At 107 years old, Susan Rossetti is the oldest WWII veteran in Watervliet, and possibly the region.

Watervliet Mayor Charles Patricelli helped present the honor to Susan. “Just to be able to give Sue that, you know, the feeling of, ‘Hey, look, we really do appreciate everything you’ve done for us’, and that we really do love her,” Mayor Patricelli explained.
