KERNERSVILLE, NC — Blue Skies Creamery is preparing to open its first brick-and-mortar location at 116 N Main St, Kernersville, NC 27284. Co-owner Bret Biance told Business Debut the team is targeting an April opening, though May or June could become a reality depending on construction progress.
The shop will occupy Unit 116, with the neighboring Unit 112 planned for a future complementary concept once funding and buildout plans are finalized.
What to Expect
The 116 space is undergoing a full interior restoration. Biance told Business Debut the team is reworking plumbing, electrical and interior concrete to bring the more than 70-year-old building up to North Carolina code requirements.
The layout will feature a large service counter on the left upon entry, along with indoor seating. The design direction is leaning contemporary with modern elements, though Biance said details remain fluid as construction continues…
