KNOXVILLE — Motorists traveling through the Powell area of Knox County should expect brief traffic delays Friday afternoon as crews conduct blasting work near the I-75 and Emory Road interchange.
According to transportation officials, blasting originally scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 26, has been postponed until 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, due to anticipated inclement weather.
Rolling roadblocks will temporarily stop traffic on Interstate 75 South beginning at Exit 117 (Raccoon Valley Road) and Interstate 75 North beginning at Exit 108 (Merchants Drive) while crews clear debris near the Exit 112 (Emory Road/Powell) ramps…
