Lexington leaders aid displaced residents after devastating fire

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Right now, more than 150 people are displaced after an apartment fire in Lexington over the weekend. City leaders stepped up in the wake of the fire to help.

Charred brick and apartment units burnt to a crisp, it’s a heartbreaking scene left behind by a weekend fire at the Wolf Run Condominiums on Village Drive.

“Everybody was everywhere, and it was chaotic,” said Francois Jackson, a resident and chief executive officer of the complex.
