LEBANON, Pa. — The Lebanon School District and several school officials have been named as defendants in a federal civil rights lawsuit filed by a Harrisburg law firm on behalf of a 12-year-old student who died by suicide in 2024.
Andreozzi & Foote, a nationally recognized civil litigation firm representing survivors of civil rights violations, sexual abuse, and institutional misconduct, filed the lawsuit in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania on behalf of the estate of Yadriel Rivera Jusino, who attended schools in the Lebanon School District from 2020 until his death in 2024.
The lawsuit asserts federal civil rights claims, wrongful death, and survival claims under Pennsylvania law, alleging the school district and officials exhibited “deliberate indifference to repeated and known reports of race-based and disability-based bullying in the years leading up to Jusino’s death on June 3, 2024…
