LOUISVILLE, Ky. — New 911 calls from February 12 are shedding more light on how Tyrah Adams died after an incident with a Louisville Public Works truck.
Mayor Craig Greenberg’s office and a spokesperson for public works have confirmed Adams was picked up by a mechanical claw on a public works truck in an alley behind the J&M Food Mart in the Russell Neighborhood. The incident happened near the corner of South 26th Street and West Muhammad Ali Blvd. around 9 a.m.
