BOSTON (WWLP) – A new poll takes voters’ temperature on 6 of 11 questions fighting their way to the November ballot.

This poll, conducted by The University of New Hampshire Survey Center, comes as top lawmakers have expressed concerns about the quantity of ballot questions, and voiced their opposition to lowering the state income tax, among other issues.
The questions showing the most support of the 6 polled were a same-day voter registration question and the state income tax reduction from 5 to 4%, opposed by top lawmakers. 62% of polled voters somewhat or strongly support same-day voter registration, a standard in nearly half of US states, and 21% somewhat or strongly opposed it. 58% of polled voters somewhat or strongly support the income tax reduction, with 21% somewhat or strongly in opposition.
The question showing the most opposition looks to repeal adult-use recreational marijuana legalization. 63% of those polled either somewhat or strongly oppose the question, and just 20% either somewhat or strongly support it…
