DC man pleads guilty to kicking man out of wheelchair, stabbing him to death

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A D.C. man pleaded guilty to stabbing and killing a man with paraplegia in October 2024, according to the United States Attorney’s Office (USAO) for the District of Columbia.

Kevin James Johnson, 38, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to second-degree murder while armed for killing 44-year-old Antonio Pierre Woody.

According to court documents, on the morning of Oct. 6, 2024, Woody, who was paraplegic and wheelchair bound, was gathered with a group in the 1700 block of Lincoln Rd. NW.
